Language: SpanishWhat we know: Gregorio Mamani, a 74-year-old blind man, lives in a small hut outside the home of a family member who shares her space with seven children. With no room for him inside, Gregorio sleeps on the dirt floor, with little comfort or protection.
Our immediate goal was to provide Gregorio with a mattress to offer him a more comfortable place to rest. However, we recently learned that Gregorio was displaced by his family due to a lack of resources to care for him. We are now working to raise funds to help secure a safer, more dignified living situation for him.
Your donations can make a world of difference for elderly individuals like Gregorio. Together, we can provide them with the necessities and dignity they deserve.Gregorio

Language: AymaraWhat we know: Amalia spent her entire life as a farmer. She has no family and is 80% blind. Despite her condition, she continues to spend her days tending to sheep.
Amalia lives in a 180 sq ft shed made from aluminum and cardboard. She sleeps on a metal bed frame, with cardboard placed on the metal wires as her mattress. Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to provide Amalia with several improvements:
- Fresh water delivered to her three times a week
- A new bed frame and mattress
- Solar lights for her shed
These changes have made a significant difference in her daily life, but there is still much more to be done to ensure her comfort and dignity.Amalia

Language: QuechuaWhat we know: Adrian’s resilience is truly remarkable, but at 81 years old, he should not have to endure such discomfort and hardship. Currently, he sleeps on a hay-filled pad that’s infested with bugs carrying heart disease.
To cope with fatigue and hunger, Adrian chews on coca leaves.
Adrian and his wife live in a shed they built themselves, using cardboard, aluminum, and discarded materials. His wife sleeps on a hay pad with a broken bed frame, while Adrian sleeps directly on the ground, on a hay pad. They have no access to clean water, electricity, food, or health services. Thanks to generous support, we’ve been able to provide Adrian and his wife with:
- Fresh water delivered three times a week
- New bed frames and mattresses
- Two solar light stations for their shed
These improvements have made a significant difference, but there is still much more we can do to support them in their time of need.Adrian
